TEMPLE, Texas (KXAN) – An Amber Alert that was issued Tuesday night for a girl from Temple, Texas was discontinued Wednesday. The seven-year-old girl was located safe with the suspect in the case Wednesday morning, according to the Temple Police Department. Temple is around 70 miles north of Austin. CHARLTON, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- A Galway man has died after a one-car crash in Charlton. The Saratoga County Sheriff's Office said Anthony Giglio, 62, was pronounced dead at the scene. Police found that Giglio, driving a 2012 Ram 1500, was traveling south when he lost control and struck a tree. Giglio was the only occupant in the vehicle. LOUIS - A husband and wife from Jefferson County, Missouri, appeared in federal court on Tuesday and admitted possessing material containing child sexual abuse.Prosecutors with the U.S. Attorney’s Office for the Eastern District of Missouri said David J. Dohrman, 52, and Jacqueline M. Dohrman, 48, both pleaded guilty to a charge of possession of child pornography.David Dohrman told the court that he'd searched for and downloaded illicit material on his cell phone. The Colorado Department of Transportation announced new thresholds for Interstate 70 closures through Glenwood Canyon on Tuesday. Developers of a project billed as the country’s first “carbon-positive” hotel placed the last beam on the building Wednesday and said the hotel in downtown Denver will be open for business around June 2024.The 13-story Populus hotel by Urban Villages will be highly visible not only because of its location — next to Civic Center park — but also because of its design. The triangular building’s exterior will evoke the bark of an aspen tree, with the inset windows mimicking the dark, eye-shaped marks left on an aspen’s bark when branches break off.The hotel’s name, Populus, comes from the scientific name for quaking aspen: Populus tremuloides.
