A semitruck fuel spill on eastbound Interstate 76 shut down the roadway to northbound Interstate 25 Sunday morning.A small leak on the underside of the truck’s tank spilled fuel on the roadway, closing I-76 to northbound I-25, Adams County Fire posted on social media just after 11 a.m. Sunday.The leak is estimated to be between 50 to 100 gallons of diesel fuel, and a tow truck is on its way, according to Adams County Fire.I-76 EB to I-25 NB is closed due to a semi truck fuel spill. HB23B-1002 doubles the earned income tax credit for 2023, and HB23B-1008 appropriates money to the state Department of Treasury to staff the property tax deferral program.The Senate passed the bills on a party-line vote after starting at 10 a.m. Sunday, with Republicans in opposition. The bills passed without changes or amendments, making the voice votes their final hurdle before getting Polis’ signature.For more than an hour following those votes, the Senate has been in recess, discussing proposed changes to SB23B-001, the property tax relief bill. Dana Carvey, a comedian and actor best known for his time as a cast member on “Saturday Night Live,” has announced that he will be taking a break from work and social media after the death of his son. Dex Carvey died of an accidental drug overdose at his L.A. County home on Wednesday, his family confirmed to People Magazine. He was 32 years old. (KRON) – The Concord Police Department arrested two drivers on suspicion of DUIwhile conducting a DUI enforcement patrol on Nov. 18. (BCN) -- Contra Costa Health said on social media at 1:34 a.m. a CCH hazardous materials team was "responding to reports of a fire at Martinez Renewable Fuels (Marathon Refinery) that may affect surrounding areas." A public health advisory was issued for Martinez, Pacheco, Concord and Clyde. Shortly after, CCH said on social media it lifted the public health advisory for Martinez, Pacheco, Concord and Clyde. "The fire at Martinez Renewable Fuels is under control," is said. CCH said on its website at 3:54 a.m. "Flaring incident at Marathon Martinez that may be seen by the surrounding community."
